Carpet Cleaning Methods
We offer two basic carpet cleaning methods: hot water extraction (steam cleaning) and low-moisture encapsulation.
If carpet restoration is needed, then the two processes can be done together to bring your carpets back to life.
Low-moisture encapsulation is gentle on your carpets, removes stains permanently, and can be done monthly. Since no water is used in the process, carpets can be walked on soon after cleaning which reduces wait time, so the process is environmentally friendly. As the machine moves across your carpet, its brushes lift the carpet fibers giving way for the cleaning chemistry to reach each fiber and lift the stains leaving the carpet looking clean and refreshed. The use of low-moisture carpet cleaning can increase the performance and appearance of your carpet, extend its useful life, and minimize the downtime that is commonly associated with carpet cleaning.
Hot-water extraction, or steam-cleaning, is a very common way to safely deep clean carpets. First the carpet is pre-sprayed with carpet cleaning solution, hot water extractor sprays water onto the carpet with high pressure jets in a wet vacuum wand, removing dirt and odors and killing germs in the process. Steam cleaning is environmentally friendly and is an effective way to remove dust mites and other organisms that may be living in your carpet. However, it does require drying time so it must be scheduled during off hours.
